Want to join a class?
We know everyone dreams of mastering those sophisticated sewing techniques, but not everyone starts out with the know-how.
That’s where we come in! Our classes are designed to help you build confidence and skill, one stitch at a time.
Our courses typically run for 6 to 10 days, with sessions spaced out over a week or two, so you’ll have plenty of time to juggle your assignments with your busy life. Perfect for those who need to thread a needle between other commitments!
We offer a variety of sewing classes, from beginner to advanced, as well as one-off morning sessions for those looking to spark some creative inspiration. Whether you’re a newbie or a seasoned seamstress, there’s something here for you.
Oh, and a little heads-up: You’ll need a sewing machine to attend! (We can’t have you sewing thin air, can we?)

Book your Class Today!
To secure your spot in our BERNINA classes, please book in advance and pay a deposit. All classes take place at our Durban North shop.
Class Details:
Schedule: Most classes are three-hour morning sessions (until approximately 12pm) on Tuesdays or Thursdays. However, we may offer Saturday classes if there’s enough interest.
Frequency: Classes can run either once a week or every alternate week, depending on the start date.
Flexibility: While we aim to follow a Tuesday/Thursday schedule, there may be exceptions. We’ll inform you of any changes when we announce class dates.
Stay Updated: We use WhatsApp and email to share class schedules, but these methods aren’t always reliable. To ensure you don’t miss out, we strongly recommend following our Facebook page for the latest updates.
